David was born in Illinois on February 24, 1927, to Fred and Mildred Carlton Noe, one of five siblings. He was a Yeoman in the U.S. Navy, serving as the Commander’s Secretary. He later graduated from San Diego State University, a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. He became a teacher and went on to spend 30 years as a School Administrator for the Sweetwater School District, serving as both a Vice Principal at Bonita Vista High School and Principal of Granger Junior High School.
In his later years he enjoyed woodworking, cross stitch, and visiting his many time shares with his wife, Virginia. He took great pleasure in hearing from his former students who returned to say how much he had helped them.
He leaves behind his wife of 70 years, Virginia S. Noe, his five children, Nola, David, Dela, Richard and Daniel,11 grandchildren, and two sisters. No services will be held.
