I don’t know where to start. Your dad and I go wayyy back. I still remember when he moved into my apartments in middle school and since then we’ve been through a lot of stuff together. Anytime I think of Dre I think about all the wild memories we have together. He was the most genuine person I’ve ever met in my life. Always spreading love and joy never had a negative attitude no matter what the situation was. Your dad had a huge personality and was always the life of the party. Dre will never be forgotten and will always live in our hearts.

I’ve left a memory, but we have so many. So many thoughts run through my head everyday. Why.? How.? What if I was there? But those questions don’t need answers I guess. I just pray you’re at peace. I can’t hold onto the fact that I’ll never be able to hear your laugh again or see you  do yo stupid lil dances lmaoo.. I know it’s gonna be hard not being able to watch your babygirl grow physically but she’ll always have a place for you in her heart. It may seem like he is gone. That’s only because he is not here physically. His soul and spirit remains within the ones who love him. Think of Dre now as the moon or sun, that way you know he is always there for you. Rather than thinking of Dre in physical form, which he is no more. Rest In Peace papa I’m gonna miss the times we had from highschool till we last linked up you’ve been a real one since the day we met. My favorite memory of us in highschool was when we slap boxed in the locker rooms and you jump off the lockers and smacked me. You’re name will forever live on in my life, you’ll be on my body till the end my boi. I love you pa watch over us and your beautiful daughter and girl. 

My Brother and I basically grew up with Dre. I may not be able to see you again but you will always be a part of my childhood and always be part of me and my memory.

When me and my family lived in Hayama Japan, Dre was my best friend and like a brother to me. We played together, ate together, and slept together. It was devastating to see you move away to Hawaii back then, and now I have the same feeling again since this has happend. It’s sad to see you go so soon. You will live on in my memory forever.

Dre and our Kiddo’s basically grew up together when we lived in San Diego, then again when our families moved back to Japan. It was some of the Best times of our life seeing the kids grow up together and being so happy. Some of my Best Memories of Dre is when our families would link up and all the Boys and Girls would separate, and us Boys would watch some WWE and start wrestling, until the Girls would come in  and tell us to be quiet we too loud lol. I REALLY MISS YOU so much Dre! The WORLD is already different mentally and physically without you.  Rest is Heaven FAMS! I LOVE You Man!

Dear Baby Girl,

When your daddy first came into our lives. I remember how excited your mommy was when she first told me about him. When he first came over to meet us. I instantly saw this vulnerability, innocence, sadness, curiosity, and happiness all rolled up into this handsome young man. You will hear from numerous people about his smile.  His smile was shy, playful, and mischievous all in one. He also had a rebellious side. But, nothing I had not seen before. Teenagers, that is what they do. they test boundaries.    
When your mommy and daddy first came to me to tell me that you were on your way. I felt fear for them. They were so young. The second thing I felt was excitement. A baby! A grandbaby!!
What I saw soon after was this shift in your daddy.  He was working to improve himself for you and your mommy. He would often come to me with questions about life.  He would help around the house with projects like painting, gardening, and then some. He was very proud of the job he and Sydney had completed with your nursery. 
He was always willing to help around the house when asked. 
The day you came into this world.  He was the most excited I had ever heard him.  He kept me updated on how you and your mommy were doing the whole time. When we brought you guys home from the hospital. You did not like to have your diaper changed at all.  You would cry your little heart out. But, your daddy would keep his cool. It was very endearing to watch.  
Whenever I would go to see you for a chance to hold you.  Your daddy was ALWAYS! either holding you or had you sleeping on his chest.  I would beg just a little bit to get a chance to have you for myself. There is so much more we will tell you about your daddy. 
I will never understand why he was taken from us so soon. But I will always be thankful for the time he was in our lives.
We will always love and miss him.

Dre was and still is one of the funniest, most warmhearted people Ive ever met. He never failed to put a smile on our faces. I even made a rap song w Dre and hes damn good at free-styling too. I only had the chance to spend a couple of my years with him, but everytime i was around him the night was guaranteed to be great. He will be so missed and i know that the talks we had about God payed off in the end. God always going to be with his soul.  

I love you forever my big lil brother. Gone too soon but never forgotten. I’ll never forget your big smile, your laugh, your goofiness, and def won’t forgot those dance moves. I will miss you coming into my room to bother me and asking me for fashion advice or even life advice. Without you I wouldn’t be the person I am today, you taught me patience, even told me that I can’t be afraid of everything.  You made my childhood top tier and it’s always something I’ll remember you. It sucks that we can’t continue our sibling hood in the physical life but I know you’re watching over me. When we used to get the whole block together and play football and skate around all the time, A memory I got was when it was me u vs Iz and Tookie and when we won u threw me on your shoulders and ran me around the field yelling we to good for u. Back in Hawaii there was never any rules except  wake up go out side and sleep in what ever house u where in last.

 I feel so thankful to have spent some of the best years with you in Hawaii.  You always brought so much love and joy to our house. I’ll never forget spending holidays with you, carving pumpkins, family dinners,  sleepovers, you cuddling italia on the couch, playing football all day with cathan, dancing in my kitchen while I cooked and Justin taking you shopping at pearl ridge. Your heart was so amazing and pure. Cathan and italia looked up to you like a big brother.  And I’ll be forever  grateful they had those years with you.  We all love you so much! We will always be here for Milana making sure she knows how amazing and wonderful her daddy was. You Lit up a room dre. I love and miss you so much! 

  Deandre was someone that always had a smile on his face & had a heart of gold.  
  He always went out of his way for his friends and loved ones always lighting the room up whenever he would walk into one with his funny comments & jokes always making everybody laugh. 
  He was the type of person that would give you his shirt off his back if you didn’t have one.  There was once a day when I was feeling down because my Grandmother was having major health problems but then there was my friend Deandre.
  He Assured me saying She would be fine telling me I had nothing to worry about & that nothing would happen to her because of God.  After telling me so he went out of his way to pick me up from my house to hang out just to make me feel better about my situation. This is just one example of the many good deeds Deandre  has done.  We must continue his legacy of hospitality & generosity by doing good deeds in Our lives.  I am forever grateful to his family for making such a good human being with a pure soul I can call my friend. 

I remember when we were younger in Hawaii and we use to go to the skate park and we always were acting like fools as kids. Playing at the park with the boys, having sleep overs, pranking whoever fell asleep first, and ding dong ditching. It’s been years since we’ve talked and I wished we stayed close when I moved. You were always a brother to me. Man, I wish you were here with everyone, your family, and your baby. Fly high brother. 

Dang , I wouldn’t even know where to start with my best memory of Dre. We had a lot and I would say the best times seeing Dre was when he was young in highschool ... he was such a happy kid and one of the funniest guys I know , all the times I would kick it with him I would never once seen him upset or down or even when he didn’t have a place to stay at. I guess one of the best memories I had is when he had no where  to sleep   And I let him sleep in my car. I gave him blankets and fed him and after that night we kicked it all day. Another funny  memory I had with your dad was he was play fighting with another friend of ours and he was getting ready to fight and he jumped in the air and farted hahahah ! ..... Later on after high school me and your dad weren’t always the best of friends just because we hanged out with different people but we did have a strong connection I would always text him and make sure he is doing ok and staying out of trouble haha but he was my brother and I’m going to miss him with all my heart and ik you  Milana will  be such a sweetheart with the biggest smile like your dad. Just know he was a good man and he would have been such a great dad to you. Hi Milana, my name is Jazmin, I met your parents in highschool and boy were they some lovebirds! Your father was such a bright, energetic person, Your mother always had a tender heart and was kind to everyone around her. You are loved and cared for so much. You will always have your father in your heart as he will keep you warm and secure. Your father was very eager to meet you and I can imagine how happy and thrilled he was while holding you in his arms. He would always cheer someone up if they were feeling down. I loved seeing him make your mother laugh as he did that often. He was dedicated to what he wanted, and your mother was someone who he absolutely loved & adored. Im looking forward to telling you more about your father. Many of his friends are around to tell you more stories as well and we love you so much!


Me and your daddy dre were such good friends my family and I thought of him as my long lost brother. Your dad wasn’t scared of anything and he didn’t care what other people had to say about him. He was always the funniest guy in the room and made everyone laugh. One Time me and your daddy took your moms car to another state and we had a real good time eating food and drinking juice. I’d never forget about your daddy he was the coolest person I’ve ever met in my life. He was most definitely the brother I never had.

I have been your Auntie Erica since you were a little boy.  I remember all the sleepovers at my house with you, Eli, Brandon and Christian. You all use to make me laugh and you always had such a sweet and good heart. You were always respectful and loving and no matter how much time passed with all the separation from moving you never changed. We love you and I will always hold on to our memories. I met Dre when he was about 2-3 years old.  I can remember introducing him to my son Marcus , who was almost two years old. I remember them two running around Chi’s living room playing like two old souls. Dre had a beautiful presence, such a sweet kid. He seemed shy and very well behaved. I watched him grow up through the years and no matter what life brought him, he never lost that kind heart of his. I love you Dre. 

Dre i remember when we would always fight over the dumbest stuff like who’s playing the xbox, who has to clean the room , and some other dumb stuff. I’m going to miss you calling me and texting me to open the door for you or letting you borrow money. But i’m going to make sure the family is good and Milana never has to worry about anything and she knows who you were and how much you loved her. Love you big bro. LLD  

Milana I know you can’t read this right know but your dad was the best person in the world if I ever needed anything he had my back and he made sure I was doing good in school and in life in general. Cool kid. You were. Last time I talked you, you were a daddy! Times goes way fast. And you gone too fast. You gave people very strong impact including adults. No one forget you if once met you. Your personality, cool and sweet heart stays our hearts forever. 

I have many great memories of Dre it’s hard to pick just one. He was one of my first friends at Bonita middle, and he’s always made the effort to stay in contact throughout the years, no matter where in life we were. One of my favorite memories was when we graduated high school and he asked me to pick him up from somewhere. He begged to drive my car around and even though I was terrified, I let him. Turned out he drove my car better than myself. I was laughing so hard at the way he looked though... both hands on the wheel...chair scooted so close I don’t know how he fit his legs underneath. We didn’t have anything else we wanted to do so he just drove us around all night. I know many people would say he never failed to put a smile on their face. I miss him so much.
