Delia Ong Jones

Delia Ong Jones, age 80 was granted her angel wings at her home on December 23rd, 2018. Her final days were spent at home surrounded by family and friends that Delia had touched throughout her memorable life.

Born on December 28, 1937 in Camarines Norte, Philippines; Delia had spent more than 30 years in San Diego with her spouse Robert L Jones.

Delia was a fierce and independent woman; however, she was just as loyal, passionate, and loving to her family and friends. With an irresistible smile and laugh, she knew no stranger. Cooking and gardening were her passions and it was not unusual to find her cooking one’s favorite meal or lovingly tending to her various plants and flowers in her backyard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister and by her spouse of Robert L Jones. She is survived by her daughter Araceli O. Fleckenstein, two grandchildren; Jessica N Duck and Eric C Fleckenstein, and five great granddaughters; Alexis Duffee, Araceli Fleckenstein, Charlene Fleckenstein, Chloe Fleckenstein and Erica Fleckenstein.

Delia will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 04,2018; 1pm at Chapel of the Roses at Glen Abbey 3838 Bonita Rd, Bonita.
