Divinia Gracia Lontoc Baker

Grace was born on December 2, 1957, in Quezon City, Philippines, to Lucila and Felix Viray. She earned her degree in Architecture from Mapúa University and went on to build a distinguished career in Engineering and Land Surveying. She worked with esteemed firms such as Arizala & Arizala Architecture, Algert Engineering, and PDC Engineering before founding her own company, DGB Survey and Mapping. Grace also proudly served in the United States Navy.

She was married to Donald G. Baker and together they raised their son, Joel Baker. A woman of deep faith, Grace was a devoted Catholic whose life was guided by compassion, generosity, and love.

Grace had a zest for life and a heart full of joy. She loved gambling, watching sports, cooking for her family, playing word games, shopping, caring for animals and spoiling her loved ones. Known as everyone’s favorite aunt, she was cherished for her unconditional love, her generous spirit, and her remarkable ability to see the good in everyone.

She is survived by her son Joel Baker, son’s partner Rachel Jaime and adopted daughter Cazandra (KC) Viray; her siblings Teresita Viray Marijana, Felicidad Viray Fernandez, Virgilio Viray, and Felix Viray Jr.; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members: Kenneth Fernandez, Dionne Marijana, Jayson Marijana, Sarah Marijana, Gloria Meys, Caren Fernandez, Audrey Fernandez, Hailey Fernandez, Maya Marijana, Ethan Fernandez, Madelyn Kelly, Emma Kelly, Connor Meys, and Liam Meys.
