Eduvigis Rosario Ignacio was born on October 11, 1919 in San Carlos City, Pangasinan, Philippines to Juan Rosario and Josefa Arenas. She was married for 64 years to her loving husband, Anacleto Ignacio, Sr., who preceded her in death in 2005. She peacefully passed on to eternal life at age 94 on July 30, 2014 at her home in San Diego, California.
Eduvigis was a full-time homemaker for 73 years. She was a dedicated wife and loving mother to nine surviving children (Gilbert, Carmelita, Norma, Anacleto, Jr., Flora, Romeo, Ruben, Roland and Gina). She has 26 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Eduvigis lived and enjoyed the simple things in life. As a person, she was very independent, calm and peaceful.
A celebration of her life will be held to honor her at Glen Abbey Memorial Park. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am on August 11, 2014 at Mater Dei Catholic Parish, 1571 Magdalena Avenue, Chula Vista, CA. Interment at Glen Abbey will follow thereafter.
