Evelyn De Castro Buangan

Evelyn De Castro Buangan was at the age of 80 when she passed away in San Diego, California on Monday, March 30, 2026. Evelyn was born on January 24, 1946 in the Philippines to Pedro Macanas De Castro and Lydia Urbano De Castro of the Philippines.

Evelyn is survived by her husband of 51 years, Arthur Sawachi Buangan, her sons Richard and Jay Buangan, her grandchildren, Aria, Emiliana, and Carys Buangan, daughter-in-law, Joyce Buangan.

There will be two nights of visitation. The first night will be held at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, Orchid Pavilion, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902, US, on April 7, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and the second night will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 2643 Homedale St, San Diego, CA 92139, US, on April 8, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 2643 Homedale St, San Diego, CA 92139, US, on April 9, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by a Committal Service at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902, US, on April 9, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:15 pm.

Evelyn touched the hearts of so many and she will be forever missed.
