With great sadness, we announce the passing of Isidro Julio Bolante, who left us on June 2, 2025. A celebration of life service will be held at Glen Abbey Memorial Park on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025 at 5:00 pm. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Born on July 20, 1932, in Manila, Philippines, Julio was the firstborn child of Eustaquia Tejero Alagao and Isidro Alcantara Bolante. He cherished his role as the eldest sibling to Palmarin, Alfredo, Nestor, Virginia, and Arnold. As the last member of his immediate family to pass away, his family is reunited at last.
His naval career, which began in November 1954 when he enlisted in the United States Navy in the Philippines, was marked by extensive travel, taking him to numerous ports in the Mediterranean Sea and Northern Europe, followed by a coast-to-coast journey across the United States, and culminating in his arrival at Pearl Harbor, Oahu, Hawaii
In Honolulu, Hawaii, Julio met and pursued the love of his life Edna Verzola Barreras. They became a family and raised their two sons Dale Barreras Bolante and Derek Barreras Bolante
Julio's legacy will live on through the countless family members and friends he touched with his loving heart, kindness, and unwavering loyalty. May he rest in peace.
