Jesse you were such a positive bright light that you brought into everything you did. Doing H and I at Coronado Hospital reaching out to patients and sharing your story. The impact on those around you will have a ripple effect for years to come. I am blessed to have known you and even more blessed to know you through Meg. Double dates, laughter and seeing you this past April with Meg was a gift. Your story, engagement and love was felt by all. You were a good man and a good friend to me. You will be missed and we will see you again. Love you Jesse. 

My memories of Jesse go way back in the early 90’s when our boys met at mommy and me with teacher Joyce  in Rolando park area. I remember when he would come visit JJ and Bella in class and the kids would be so happy and excited to see their Papi  he would be really nice to all of the kids . Rest In Peace Jesse my respect for always be a great father.

One of my earliest memories of Jesse was when I was little, probably around 4th grade, I was at Jesses house playing hide and go seek with JJ, Bella & nizza and I was trying to find somewhere to hide so I ran to the balcony to go hide and I didn’t realize but the screen door was closed and I hit it and fell forward and broke it, I got scared and ran to the restroom to pretend I was in the restroom the whole time and when Jesse came up to see what the loud sound was he asked where I was and I was scared in the restroom and came out to insist I was in there the whole time, he knew I was lying and left it there… 10 years later I was talking to Jesse about it and told him it was me and I always wanted to tell him but was scared and he just laughed and said he always knew. So many childhood memories I have at Jesse’s home. I will always remember Jesse as someone who truly loved his family so much, and was always so giving! Always knew where the best food was and he was just so full of knowledge. I love you Jesse, I’m so thankful you decided to move to Stanislaus  

Jesse was a big-hearted person with a wonderful, fun family. We will miss going out to eat with him, having him cook at our house, visiting on the patio, hearing his opinions on politics and the best deals at Costco, and getting all the updates about his family and whatever he was up to.  And having a tall, handy person around who was always looking for ways to be helpful. Our condolences to his family. Love, Kathy and Guy

To the Perez family, there are no words to comfort you during this painful loss of your dad.  We have good memories of Jesse and all the times we were together.  Jesse was a great father to his children and a grandfather to his 4 grandkids.  He loved you all and was always in your life.  With the loss of your dad this will be a new chapter in your life as life goes on.  You are all good kids and your dad can rest knowing that you all will be ok.  Remember to take care of each other and always be there for each other because you know this is what your dad would want.
