Josefa R. Ragasa

Josefa attended and graduated from Lingayen and Burgos High School and later continued her education by studying at Centro Escolar University where she earned her degree in Dentistry.

At a young age, Josefa met and fell in love with Dr. Claudio Ragasa and the couple exchanged wedding vows. Josefa and Claudio were blessed with five children Leticia, Claudio Jr., Florecita, Victorino and Severino. Later in life they received the joy of 11 grandchildren.

Fortunately, Josefa enjoyed what she did for a living. She was self employed in various jobs and later in life enjoyed being a loving babysitter to her grandchildren.

Josefa enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various activities which included watching Filipino Soap operas, playing Mahjong, and gardening. She was always happy and willing to share her interests with others.

Josefa Ragasa entered the Kingdom of Heaven on April 24, 2012. She passed away at Palomar Medical Center of sepsis. She is survived by her daughter Leticia R. Ragasa, son Claudio R. Ragasa and daughter-in-law Aleli, daughter Florecita R. Bora and son-in-law Eduardo, son Victorino Ragasa and daughter-in-law Delia, son Severino Ragasa. grandchildren Allan Mark Asuncion, Ian Paul Asuncion, Mark Vincent Ragasa, Melizza Ragasa, Christian Ragasa, Hazel Ragasa, Kara Ragasa, Kendrick Kiana Ragasa, Abigail Ragasa and Christopher Bona. Services were handled by Glen Abbey Mortuary. A Funeral Mass was held at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church on May 2, 2012. Josefa Rayos Ragasa was laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
