Julio Ruben Valenzuela

Julio nació el 28 de Agosto de 1944 en la ciudad de Tijuana, Baja California. Sus padres fueron Juan Valenzuela Acosta y Julia Parra de Valenzuela. De 13 hermanos y hermanas, Julio fue el numero 12 en nacer.

De pequeño, asistió la escuela en Tijuana y a la edad de 12 años, su familia se muda a San Ysidro, dondo asistió a la escuela católica.

Siendo un joven de 18 años, comienza su carrera en el negocio de reparación de carrocería de autos, en el cual Julio se especializóen reparar autos extranjeros e importados de Europa.

Julio amaba tener la compañía de sus parientes y amigos. La política de Julio de siempre estar dispuesto para atender a la gente, permitia que muchas personas vinieran a su garaje “su oficina” y pasar momentos y tiempo de calidad con el. Julio fue un gran fanatico de los Chargers de San Diego y los Padres. Cuando jugaban, todos los amigos y parientes sabían que el garaje de Julio seria el lugar para presenciar el juego por televisión.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa Carmen, cuatro hijos, Julio, Alicia, Julia y Ruben; 9 nietos, Sasha, Patricia, Ernesto, Yazmin, Edward, Isabel, Marianito, Ezekio (Zeke) y otro mas que esta por nacer; 6 bisnietos, Malakhi, Jiselle, Eli, Matthew, Adrien, y Aivah; 2 hermanas, Yolanda Garcia y Graciela Sandez; muchos sobrinos y sobrinas y otros familiares

A Julio le preceden en muerte su hijo Mario Humberto, sus padres, y 10 de sus hermanos y hermanas.

Julio fue querido y amado por su familia, parientes y amigos y jamas lo olvidaremos.

Julio was born August 28, 1944 to Juan Valenzuela Acosta and Julia Parra de Valenzuela in Tijuana, Baja California. He was the second youngest of 13 children.

As a child, he attended school in Tijuana and when he was 12 years old, his family moved to San Ysidro where he attended catholic school.

At age 18, he began a career in the automotive body repair business where he specialized on foreign and expensive European imported cars.

Julio always cherished the company of his friends and relatives. His “open door” policy allowed many people to come into his garage “his office” and spend quality time with him. He was a big fan of the San Diego Chargers and the Padres. On game day, friends and relatives knew that Julio’s garage was the place to go and watch the game.

Julio is survived by his loving wife Carmen; along with four children, Julio, Alicia, Julia and Ruben; 9 grandchildren, Sasha, Patricia, Ernesto, Yazmin, Edward, Isabel, Marianito, Ezekio (Zeke) and another one on the way; 6 great-grandchildren, Malakhi, Jiselle, Eli, Matthew, Adrien and Aivah; two siblings, Yolanda Garcia and Graciela Sandez; and many loving nieces, nephews and relatives.

Julio was preceded in death by his son Mario Humberto, his parents, and 10 of his brothers and sisters.

Julio was deeply loved by his family, relatives and friends and will never be forgotten.
