Leopoldo Marquez

Leo came into this world on January 4th 1979, ever since he was a child he graced everyone with his kindness and his sense of humor. When he was a child he would always play outside and he would also love playing video games. He would also love to read books and he was always open to learning new things. Leo learned the meaning of responsibility at a young age, even as a teenager if there was an opportunity for him to work no matter if it was a small job or a big project he would take it. That's why he became the hard working responsible man that he was. As Leo became an adult he started his family with his wife and 2 kids. Leo was working in construction and even though it was hard sometimes, he loved his job, and he was great at it. Leo was the kind of person that would invite you into his house and make you feel right at home, no matter if you were a family a friend or just an acquaintance he treated everyone like family and welcomed everyone with open arms and with that wonderful personality he had! Leo was a beautiful person inside and out, he was very loving and caring. Leo loved his family very much and would do just about anything and everything for them. He was a great husband and best friend to his wife and a great father and role model for his 2 kids. He was a great son, brother nephew, grandson, cousin, brother in law, son in law and friend. Leo loved going out with his wife and kids and experiencing and trying new activities with them, from kayaking and fishing to going to theme parks with family, he loved taking his wife out to new restaurants and to new locations, he also loved watching his son play all sorts of sports on the weekends and enjoyed playing video games with him and loved watching his daughter during her cheer competitions, and other events such as holiday parades. but at the end of the day he also enjoyed all 4 of them laying on the couch at home watching movies. Leo also loved working on computers and playing video games on his spare time. Later on Leo gained a passion for cooking he loved making his family new recipes and new cuisines, he really enjoyed it and he was pretty good at it! Leo was the pride and joy of the family he loved to joke around with his family friends and co workers! so if there was a gathering or party where Leo would be present, then you knew it was going to be a fun night filled with laughter and joy. Even when Leo got sick, he never once said it was unfair, and he never got angry. Leo was a man of God and he stayed loyal to him. He confronted his sickness with bravery and courage just like he confronted every other obstacle that ever came his way. Leos life here on earth taught us so much and filled us with so much joy, and although he's, resting in a better place now he lives in our heart, and all the wonderful memories of him surround us, he will continue to watch over us and guide us. We are very grateful for every second that we got to spend with him.

Although we loved you dearly,

God broke our hearts to prove to us
