Lois was born in San Diego and resided in San Diego or Chula Vista all her life. She was a homemaker for 62 years. She attended the Navy Chapel for 20 years. She loved the Lord and her family and friends. She will be remembered for her lovely smile, her sense of humor, and her kindnesses to all.
Lois is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Brenda and Curtis Myers of Texas, her daughter Debbie Hansen of Washington, her son and daughter-in-law Jeremiah and Lila Saucier, also of Washington, her brother and sister-in-law Darrel and Martha Mitchell of New York, three granddaughters and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bates.
The funeral service was held on June 7, 2013 at Glen Abbey. Lois will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
