

Luis is survived by his wife, Marielena Izaguirre; his children, Luis Antonio and Daniel Louis Izaguirre; his daughter in law Imilda Herrera Izaguirre and his four grandchildren, Luis Fabian, Adrianna Lizeth, Santiago Jesus, and Bianca Natalia Izaguirre.
He is preceded in death by his father Andres and mother Josefina, as well as his siblings Jose (Pepe) and his sister Angelica along with his partner in crime, trusted family pet Spotty Luigi.
Luis was born on October 27, 1948 in Lima, Peru to father Andres Izaguirre and mother Josefina Galindo de Izaguirre. He was the second youngest of 9 children. His siblings consisted of Jose “Pepe”, Consuelo, Angelica, Josefina, Pedro, Olinda, Isabel, and Andres.
Luis married Maria Elena Blas Valdivia on April 7, 1976 in Lima, Peru. They welcomed their first child Luis Antonio in the same year. Luis worked at Drogueria Kahan, where he was their top sales rep for a number of years. In order to pursue the American Dream and a better future for their family, they relocated to California, USA in 1981. When he arrived in the United States, he began work as a traveling salesman, selling arts and crafts he designed. In 1985 they welcomed their second child Daniel Louis. In 1986, for the benefit of his family, Luis decided to make a career change. He began working for Scripto Tokai Corporation in Fontana California where he took an entry-level position as a material handler. He advanced within the company over the course of a few years and relocated his family to San Diego, CA in 1991 to accept a supervisory position. One of his proudest accomplishments was becoming a citizen of the United States, which occurred on December 1, 1995. He retired as the General Manager Administrator of the Latin American Division for Scripto Tokai JMP in Tijuana, Mexico in 2008. He continued working for a short duration afterwards when he accepted a General Manager role for AOI Techno Industries from 2008 to 2011.
Luis enjoyed walking, barbecuing, karaoke, carpentry, gardening, work consulting, soccer and cheering on his grandkids in all of their activities. He was a devoted husband, father and a confidant for all of his family members. He was a natural problem-solver who often took on difficult projects at work and around the house. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
A viewing will be held on August 14th from 5pm – 9pm at Glen Abbey Memorial Chapel 3838 Bonita Rd, Bonita CA 91902. The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on August 15th at the Little Chapel of Roses 3838 Bonita Rd, Bonita CA 91902. With a reception to follow. Flowers may be sent to Glen Abbey Memorial.
