Ma. Eva D. Palo

Ma. Eva Diosana Palo was born in November 17, 1961, in Tanza, Cavite, Philippines. She is the eldest of the three children of Jesus Diosana and Asuncion Ledesma. She was an accomplished Obstetrician and Gynecologist in the Philippines and a Registered Nurse in the United States.

During her Elementary and High School days Ma. Eva was a consistent honor student, and was well loved by her classmates, schoolmates and teachers. She loved to play the piano and was very passionate in singing.

Her medical colleagues would describe her as a very hardworking woman, and her patients would say how helpful and compassionate she was as a doctor.

Ma. Eva was married to Ronaldo Palo and they were blessed with four children in their sixteen years together.

In 2006, Eva tried her luck to work as Nurse in California in preparation for her dream to become a doctor in the U.S., and to give her children a better future.

She was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer in 2009 while reviewing for USMLE. Eva was known to be a very strong woman, a person that won’t give up easily. She lost her battle with cancer after two and a half years.

She joined our Lord on August 6, 2011. She is survived by her loving husband Ron and her four children: Reynaldo Miguel, Roman Gabriel, Ana Ela and Jesus Rafael.

Memorial services in her honor will be held on the following dates and site; viewing and celebration of life on August 14 and 15, 2011, 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the Chapel of Roses in Glen Abbey Memorial Park, Bonita, California and a funeral mass on August 16, 2011 at 10 AM at Mater Dei Parish, 1571 Magdalena Ave., Chula Vista, CA 91913 and interment immediately following at Glen Abbey Memorial Park.
