Margaret was a people person and was “Mom” to many. She worked for 29 years at J.C. Penney, many of those years in personnel. She was active in her church and served as a Deacon. She loved music and enjoyed playing the piano as well as singing hymns around the house. Margaret was born and raised in North Dakota. She lived in many parts of the country, thanks to the military, and made her final home in Chula Vista, California, where she lived for over 40 years.
Margaret and Bob loved to travel and visited many places, both in the U.S. and abroad, with their trip to Norway being their favorite.
Margaret was devoted to her family, leading by example and guiding her daughters to be strong, compassionate, hard-working women. She had strong values which she maintained throughout her life and in spite of suffering from a rare dementia, she remained kind.
Margaret was thrilled to have a granddaughter, Kailey. While she was able, she took great pride in attending all of Kailey’s activities.
The family wishes to thank the staff of ActivCare at Rolling Hills Ranch for taking great care of Margaret during the last years of her life.
