María del Carmen, “Mari”, Kraus Pérez-Extremera, de 92 años, falleció tranquila y con paz en casa, el jueves 15 de diciembre de 2022, en San Diego, California. Se llevará a cabo una Celebración de su Vida el martes 27 de diciembre a las 12:00 p. m. en la Capilla de las Rosas y posterior sepultura en el mismo Parque Memorial de Glen Abbey en Bonita, California. La familia recibirá a sus amistades desde las 10 a.m. en la capilla, previo a la Celebración de Vida.

Mari nació en Madrid, España, un 27 de julio de 1930, hija de Florencio Kraus Mansilla y Antonia Pérez-Extremera y Romero, en una familia de tres hermanos, José Luis, Mari y Miguel. Le preceden a su fallecimiento, sus padres, su hermano José Luis, al igual que su amado hijo Javier, su nieto Gabriel y su esposo por más de 50 años, Jesús Blanco Sánchez, quienes formaron una hermosa y próspera familia. Mari dedicada a su hogar cultivando sus dotes culinarios y de alta costura, mientras su esposo, empresario y comerciante exitoso.

A Mari le sobreviven sus hijos, Cristina, Juan Carlos y Jesús; sus nietos, Daniel, Rafael, Valeria, Isabella, Ana y Monserrat; su bisnieto Danielito; y su hermano Miguel. Sus demás familiares y amigos se adolecen también de la ausencia física de Mari, mientras que su espíritu permanecerá en sus corazones por siempre.

María del Carmen, “Mari”, Kraus Pérez-Extremera, age 92, passed away calmly and peacefully at home on Thursday, December 15, 2022, in San Diego, California. There will be a Celebration of Life for her on Tuesday, December 27 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Roses, and the burial also at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California. The family will receive her friends from 10 a.m. in the chapel, prior to her Celebration of Life.

Mari was born in Madrid, Spain, on July 27, 1930, the daughter of Florencio Kraus Mansilla and Antonia Pérez-Extremera y Romero, in a family of three brothers, José Luis, Mari and Miguel. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother José Luis, as well as her beloved son Javier, her grandson Gabriel and her husband of over 50 years, Jesús Blanco Sánchez, who formed a beautiful and prosperous family. Mari was dedicated to her home, cultivating her culinary and sewing skills, while her husband was a successful businessman and merchant.

Mari is survived by her children, Cristina, Juan Carlos, and Jesus; her grandchildren, Daniel, Rafael, Valeria, Isabella, Ana and Monserrat; her great-grandson Danielito; and her brother Miguel. Her other family and friends will miss Mari's physical absence, while her spirit will remain in their hearts forever.
