Mary Jane Machado - known as Jane to those who knew her best - passed away on December 6, 2018 at Fredricka Manor in Chula Vista. Jane was born in San Diego, Ca on September 7, 1926 in her home near 54th and El Cajon Blvd. She grew up in the San Diego area with her parents Mary and Herbert Sands and her eight siblings.
Jane was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She helped build and operate the family business (Chula Vista Blue Print). Jane is survived by her daughter, Kathy Lightbody (Ken), two sons Perry, Paul and four grandchildren Luke, Michael, Ryan and Kyle.
Jane was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. Until we meet again! Service on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 2pm at Chapel of the Roses at Glen Abbey Cemetery, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, with Burial and Reception immediately following.
