Miriam Price was born on May 25, 1939, in Newnan, Georgia, to Jim Price and Artie Burnham Price. She graduated from Central High School and later moved to San Diego in the 1960s, where she built a meaningful life and career.
Miriam dedicated over 40 years to the nursing profession, providing compassionate care and touching countless lives through her work. She was a devoted mother to her beloved daughter, Rosalind Renee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Artie Price; her siblings Jacquelyn Hurtt, Ruth Tubbs, Linda Lacey, James Price, and Ray Price.
On Monday, June 30, 2025, Miriam was called to rest. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Glinda Hamilton (Alvin) ; daughter, Rosalind Ward (Louis); grandchildren, Glendale Henry Jr., Deandre Henry, and Ebone Harris; sister-in-law, Betsy Price; as well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Miriam known by all as "Nana" will be remembered for her dedication, kindness, and the loving presence she brought into the lives of all who knew her.
