Remembering Morris, he  was a great cousin,  we had such fun when we were together. Hope he and Wiles had a reunion in heaven.

I so miss my amazing daddy. Each day is a struggle.

 Morris enjoyed shopping with his wife, Jeannie.  Their great adventure for many years, usually involved searching for collectibles!  They made it part of their travels to find the little antique shop that delighted them both!  A little something from their past, remembering the good ol days, while growing-up.  However, some things were not so small or easy to display!  Such as a large old gas station sign (I think)!   It was my pleasure to be invited to their lovely home where history jumped-backed in time.  
Rest In Peace dear man, you were a pleasure to know. 🙏for family & friends. 


I will always remember Morris with a big smile on his face and welcoming us to his wonderful home!  He and Jeanne were great companions on several past NOSC Wine Trips!!  He will always be missed but I know will be enjoying eternity in Heaven!

In September of 2014, I ventured into Dobson's in downtown San Diego to meet with some teacher friends and have a glass of wine at the bar. I did not expect to see Morris and my grandfather's names on wall plaques. I asked the bartender what earned the privilege of having one's name on a wall plaque. He told me, "Those are all the people who left here and got a DUI." I choked on my drink and he laughed and said, "Actually, those are just our regulars from over the years." Morris and my grandfather had actually been in Dobson's a week or two prior, and the owner came to chat to us about what a pleasure it was to have them there. 

Thank you for being an extended member of our family, Morris. You are sorely missed.

Sorry we won't be able to say this in person, Jeannie, but we have many good memories of both of you. Morris was always so positive and upbeat that it was a pleasure to be with him, whether at work or socially. We will miss him, but treasure those memories, and we send our best wishes to you going forward.

Heavy hearts since the passing of our wonderful Morris.  He brightened and touched everyone's lives.  Definitely will miss his "radio voice", spirit, sense of humor and positivity. Every time Morris entered a room, you knew he was there and you were happier for it. I’ll never forget his infectious laugh and his charming wit. Some great Christmas memories. Much love to you, Jeannie.

I remember when Morris shined my husbands (John Preston) shoes in an antique chair he had just purchased. We were visiting, had a great dinner (Jeannie prepared) with Gloria & husband...I think we still lived in San Diego. What a guy Morris was........

Dear Jeannie,
  Joy and I send our deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your family. We will be in Charlotte, NC, from April 1-9, so will be unable to attend the celebration of life for Morris. His was a life well lived and I know there will many, many of his friends and colleagues who will be there to send him off in style.

A phenomenal man. Great memories of work times from years ago. The world is a sadder place without Morris’ humor and charm. 

Was there ever a brighter smile? His presence always lit up a room. His stories were endless, and his collections were.....well what can I say. Morris will be sorely missed.  

We will always miss Morris’ laugh, his stories, and his tight hugs. The past few months, every time we would leave, he would say “You know I love you so much, right?” Yes, we knew Morris. And we love you so much too.
