Nolita, also known as Noly, married Cenon S. Buenaventura on May 20, 1951. She is survived by her husband and four sons Bobby, Cesar, Albert, Dominic Buenaventura; four daughters Emlyn B. Valles, Vivian B. Deddeh, Susan B. Young, Grace B. Doughty; grandmother to sixteen grandchildren; and great-grandmother to two young children plus one on the way.
Noly was a devout Catholic and active member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She enjoyed weekly prayer meeting on Fridays with neighbors and friends. Noly had a passion for cooking, crocheting, gardening, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
A viewing will be held Saturday, January 4, 2013 at Glen Abbey Mortuary from 5-9pm. Church mass will be held on Monday, January 6, 2013 at St. Charles Catholic Church at 11:00am. Burial following mass January 6, 2013 at Miramar National Cemetery.
