

Everyone’s life is the sum total of all of the people they have met, the things they have done, the places they have gone. Norine F. Feria was no exception. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Norine will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
Norine’s life journey began on June 9, 1956. She first greeted the world in the Philippines. Her parents' names were Ignacio Francia and Felisa Florita Francia. She was raised by her family in Barangay Amagna, San Felipe, Zambales sharing many special life experiences over the years.
Norine was a typical teenager who had a fairly happy high school experience, making the critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. She graduated from Zambales Central Institute in 1973. She later continued her education by attending Arellano University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1978.
Falling in love is a huge milestone for any person. Just knowing that you have met that special someone is a magical feeling. Norine experienced that with her sweetheart Dominador F. Feria and the couple exchanged wedding vows on November 3, 1984. The ceremony took place in San Diego, California. Empathic and loyal, Norine was committed to making her new family happy.
While everything a person does in life contributes to who they grow into, it is ultimately this same person who holds the most influence on the next generation. Norine was blessed with two children, Jonathan F. Feria and Niki Demitri F. Feria. Norine worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs, raising her children in a positive and nurturing environment. Later in life, Norine was blessed with the gift of one grandson, Andrey.
How a person performs in the workplace can be a reflection on how they live their life. Norine was always willing to help someone in need. She devoted her life to it. Norine enjoyed her career in the Nursing industry. Norine began her career in 1981 where she worked as an intensive care nurse in United Arab Emirates until 1984. From 1984 until 1985, she worked in Long Beach Hospital as a dialysis nurse. From 1985 until 1990 she worked at Villaview Hospital. In 1990 Norine worked at Sharp Coronado at Sub Acute until her last day of work in 2010. Throughout her career, Norine was always recognized for a job well done. On May 5, 2008 Norine was the proud to earn the “Nurse of the Year Award”.
A person's hobbies often mirror who they have become. Norine enjoyed her leisure time by spending time with her family. She was thrilled to be able to visit her family in the Philippines in January of 2011.
Norine Feria left us on June 10, 2011. She passed away Lake View Home in La Mesa, California after fighting a courageous battle against breast cancer. She is survived by her loving husband Dominador; children Jonathan and Niki; daughter in law Reyme; and her grandson Andrey. Services were handled by Glen Abbey Mortuary. A Funeral Mass was held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Bonita on June 18, 2011. Norine was laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
Simply stated, Norine was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being caring and giving, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Norine leaves behind her a legacy of lifelong friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life Norine F. Feria touched will always remember her with a smile.
