

Pacifico was born on February 6, 1940 in Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines. He was the son of Pacifico M. Yamsuan, Sr. and Arsenia G. San Juan. Pacifico grew up in Manila, Philippines and raised with seven siblings. He had five brothers, Romulo, Conrado, Eduardo, Avelino and Bernardo, and two sisters, Marina and Violeta. Pacifico was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his family sharing many life experiences over the years.
A typical teenager, Pacifico had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. He graduated from Mapa High School in 1957 and went on to higher education, earning his degree in Commercial Arts from the University of the Philppines in 1961.
On December 19, 1965 Pacifico lovingly exchanged wedding vows with Priscilla Guerrero Marmito at San Augustin, Intramuros in Manila, Philippines. Pacifico and Priscilla were blessed with two children, his son Danilo Michael (Miko) Yamsuan and his daughter Maria Sheila (Lala) Yamsuan. Empathic and loyal, Pacifico was committed to making his new family happy, working hard to be a good husband and father. Another blessing for Pacifico was the gift of four grandchildren, Danielle, Dustin, Monique and Matthew.
Fortunately, Pacifico enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Pacifico worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career as an Interior Decorating Artist. He was practically self -employed for 50 years pursuing his hobbies of painting and interior decorating.
Pacifico passed away on February 2, 2012 at Pamona Valley Mediacal Hospital in Pamona, California. Pacifico fought a brave battle against lung cancer. He is survived by his wife Priscilla M. Yamsuan, his son Danilo Michael M. Yamsuan, his daughter Maria Sheila Y. Fernando, his daughter-in-law Aurea Yamsuan, his son-in-law Jing Fernando, and his grandchildren. A funeral service was held at The Little Chapel of the Roses in Bonita, California on February 13, 2012. Pacifico was laid to rest in Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
Simply stated, Pacifico San Juan Yamsuan Jr. was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Pacifico leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories and will always be remembered.
