Patricia Jeanne Youmans

Patricia Jeanne Youmans was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 30,1923 to Frank & Genevieve Harris Dale. Her father died when she was 5 months old. Genevieve married Harold Ord in 1927 and they moved to Imperial Beach, CA when Patty was 4 years old. She grew up in IB with 8 brothers & sisters & attended Sweetwater High School.

Pat was married to Bill Collins in 1941 until his death in 1968. Pat married Glen Youmans in 1969. Glenn died in 2006. She had 6 children by her first husband & when Bill died she had to go back to school and get her GED. She continued working and going to school until she earned her RN Degree. She began her nursing career at age 52 & retired at 82. She worked as a Nurse, Charge Nurse & Director of Nursing at Paradise Hills Convalescent Home.

Patricia died at age 95 at Sarasona Homecare in Bonita, CA. She is preceded in death by her son Kelly Collins. She is survived by her 5 children: Michael Collins (Janet), Candace Crow, John Collins (Vivian), Cherie Pimentel (Bruce) & Patric Shane Collins; 3 step children: Glenna Rowan (Mou), Marie Serrano & David Youmans (Linda); brother Hugh Ord, & sister Linda Cash. Patricia is blessed with 10 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren & 6 step grandchildren.

A committal service for Patricia will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park, Bonita, California. Following the committal service will be a reception to follow at Little Lodge at Glen Abbey, Bonita, California.
