(December 26th, 1972- January 24th, 2015)
Paul was born to Antonio Farinas, Sr. and Linda Acosta at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland on December 26th, 1972. He attended Montgomery Middle, Montgomery High and Chula Vista High Schools. While attending middle school, he played saxophone for the school marching band. During high school, his musical abilities extended to DJing and he even helped his brother, Kevin, learn the art of turntables.
Paul grew up loving football and was a tremendous Chargers fan! He also enjoyed collecting comic books. This interest in comics sparked up an idea to open a comic shop which he did in 1993. In addition to selling comic books and memorabilia, Paul hosted various events and tournaments for kids and comic aficionados. Later, Paul developed an enthusiasm for computers and technology. He utilized his electronic skills in installation for various car and cable companies. Other favorite activities included photography, customizing cars and cooking for his family.
With Charmaine Pasiderio, Paul had 5 children: Nathan (with whom he is now reunited), Noah, Ryan, Alea, and Alyssa. He was very proud of his talented children and supported their interests and hobbies. He is also survived by his siblings, Cathy, Kevin, Adrianna, Antonio Jr., and Ricky. Paul was a loving son, friend, cousin, nephew, uncle, and father that will never be forgotten.
Paul Farinas is now at peace, watching over his loved ones, guiding his children, and is in all of our thoughts and prayers. We will truly miss him.
