Feliberto Magpusao Impreso passed away peacefully at 90 years old in his home in San Diego, California on Friday October 20, 2023 surrounded by his beloved wife Lolita ,10 children and loved ones.
Feliberto was born on August 22, 1933 in San Roque, Malinao, Aklan, Philippines to Magno Impreso and Guadalupe Magpusao.
Phil was a hardworking farmer in the Philippines working day to night to provide for his family. He made sure to always have more than enough food on the table for his family and to share with friends. He was a very giving man to everyone he met.
Education was his and Lolita’s priority. They always reminded his children “education is the only thing that cannot be taken away from you.” Their children went to private Catholic school to give them a better life than they ever had. They grew up to be nurses, business management, merchant marine, engineer, mechanic, chef, and teacher. His work ethic, dedication and perseverance were embodied by his children and passed down to his grandchildren.
Phil was a devoted Catholic. He carried his faith and encouraged his children to serve the Lord. He treated others the way he want to be treated.
As an immigrant, Phil embraced the American dream. He arrived with hopes and dreams in his heart, and he transformed those dreams into a legacy that includes 10 incredible children, 4 sons in law, 4 daughters in law and sixteen adoring grandchildren, 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews. His commitment to his family was unwavering, and he exemplified the values of thoughtfulness, kindness, and generosity to whomever needs his help.
He enjoyed the casino, cooking, shopping, washing dishes, and listening to Radyo Todo. You can always hear him singing his favorite songs. But most of all, he enjoyed spending quality time with his happy big family.
