Phylicia Ashley Barron (known as “Ashley” to family) was born in San Diego, California on June 11th, 1991. She was the loving daughter of James and Susana Barron. She was the middle of three children: Geovanni being the eldest and Breion the youngest.
At a young age, Ashley possessed a very special talent that no one knew about nor understood. It was just being around her, hearing her one of a kind laugh that is so infectious everyone else would laugh not knowing why. Ashley always sang in the background. It was what she loved to do. Ashley always looked up to her loving parents on what love looks like - then amplified that affection to everyone she met.
Ashley graduated from West Valley High School in Hemet, CA. She graduated from San Diego State University (SDSU) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology. During this time, Ashley realized her passion for the Arts. She expressed her feelings through drawings and paintings, and eventually created her own songs and lyrics.
Taking the world by storm, she knew deep inside singing was the best way to express herself. Meeting many musicians and artists who understood and shared her vision and passion, led her to the world of entertainment.
On the morning of Sunday, November 29th, 2015 God reached down and touched the earth telling Ashley it was time to come and be with him. As the angel she was and forever will be, her wings were ready. As we all want to believe it was too soon, God had his plan for her. She will forever be in our hearts
Laughing, Singing, and Dancing the night away.
Crossing Over
Oh, please don’t feel guilty
it was just my time to go.
I see you are still feeling sad,
And the tears just seem to flow.
We all come to earth for our lifetime,
And for some it’s not many years
I don’t want you to keep crying
You are shedding to many tears.
I haven’t really left you
Even though it may seem so.
I have just gone to my heavenly home,
And I’m closer to you than you know.
Just believe that when you say
My name, I’m standing next to you,
I know you long to see me,
But there nothing I can do.
But I’ll still send you messages
And hope you understand,
That when your time comes to
“cross over”, I’ll be there
to take your hand.
Acknowledgement
