

Rosalina was survived by her husband Benjamin and two children Ruby and DJ, four brothers and three sisters. She was the sixth children of 10 from Carlos Yu Sr. and Marcelina Yu. Brothers Antonio, Zosimo, Emilio, Roberto, Carlos Jr, Luisito, sisters, Teresita, Grace, and Benita.
Rosalina studied grade school at St. Joseph Elementary School in Cavite City, Philippines. Attended and graduated with honor (Valedictorian) from Saint Augustine High School 1973 in Tanza, Cavite, Philippines. Attained Bachelor of Science in Nursing 1978 at St. Jude College, Manila, Philippines. Immigrated to United State 1979. She met her husband Benjamin at her cousin Almar's confirmation party 1980 and became in love and committed to each other after 5 months in the same year. Tied the knot on October 17, 1981, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Tanza, Cavite, Philippines.
A loving, energetic, devoted, caring wife and mother to her children. She is very affectionate, helpful, and generous person. Always have a golden heart to anyone that is in need of her help in any capacity. Very religious person and a devout catholic.
As a Navy wife, she and her sweetheart Benjamin resided in Philadelphia, PA., Mayport, Fl., and San Diego, CA. She worked as an ER Nurse in Philadelphia, Mayport, and San Diego.
A 1st visitation for Rosalina will be held Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Chapel of Roses. A 2nd visitation will occur Friday, February 3, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Chapel of Roses. A Funeral Mass will occur Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Charles Catholic Church. A Committal Service will occur Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park/ A reception will follow at Buffet House.
