Rosie Domingo Apelo

May 15, 2021 and is under the care of Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary.

Rosie is survived by her four children, Marie, Rizaldy, Antonio Jr., and

Christopher; 13 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Of her 6 siblings,

Rosendo and William were blessed to be at a driving distance from her home in

San Diego CA, so they got to hang out together whenever possible. Two of her

siblings, Amelia and David, have passed before her. Her two other siblings, Ruth

and Jesselyn, are back home in the Philippines whom she visited yearly.

Her children would like to remember her as the thoughtful and humble single

parent-mom, who always remembered their special days (birthdays,

anniversaries, etc.). She sent them gifts or cards, or her specialty, hopia.

She never missed a year of not shipping Balikbayan boxes to the Philippines.

Rosie will be missed by her friends and families for her meek and lowly

presence, a person who is there to keep you company, and who spends more

time listening than talking. Her church barkadas (friends) will also be missing her almost

perfect Sabbath-to-Sabbath attendance and potluck presence.
