Teodora Ortiz Molina

Teodora Ortiz Molina, who was lovingly called "Teddy", "Teodorita", "Totita", and "Biwi" by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, departed her loving family on July 26, 2022 peacefully in her sleep.

Teodora was born in Epazoyucan, Hidalgo Mexico on a beautiful October day to Guadalupe Herrera and Manual Ortiz.

Teodora was mother to 5 children; Baltasar, Jose Manuel, Carlos, Rosalinda and Laura Carmen. She raised her children with love and devotion in Tijuana, Baja California with her husband Baltasar Molina Ruiz

Although she did not work outside of the home when raising her young children, Teodora worked several different odd jobs from home to help make ends meet including forming her own rural school to educate children in her neighborhood and working as a seamstress. She later moved to California and worked in a restaurant and a nursery.

Teodora was an avid crafter and her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, ornament making, painting, ceramics and much more. She shared her passion for creating with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by 4 of her 5 children: Baltasar Molina, Jose Manuel Molina, Rosalinda Aguilar and Laura Carmen Ledezma, daughter-in-laws, Estela Molina, Teresa Molina and son-in-laws, Alfredo Aguilar and Hector Ledezma.

Aside from her children that she loved dearly, Teodora is also survived by her 10 grandchildren; Karla Rahiman, Baltasar Molina III, Michelle Jerez, Carlos Molina, Alfredo Ricalde, Alfredo Aguilar, Priscilla Calderon, Angela Wilson, Sergio Molina, and Laura Ledezma. Additionally, Teodora was blessed to have meet all 8 of her great grandchildren: Mauricio Ricalde, Hugo Jerez Jr., Aliyanah Rahiman, Brianna Ricalde, Leilah Rahiman, Alfredo Ricalde Jr., Jared Osuna and Adrian Osuna.

Services will be held at The Little Chapel of the Roses in Bonita, California on August 26, 2022 at 1:00pm. Teodora loved light colors, and prior to her passing had asked that people wear light colors to her services and focus on celebrating her life.
