Zenita Valdez Villena

Zenita Valdez Villena, 85, passed away on April 18, 2023, in Poway, CA. She was born on February 26, 1938, in Pangasinan, Philippines, to Tomas Sr. and Teofila Valdez. She grew up in Pangasinan with her two siblings, Tomas Valdez Jr. and Alcorda Mamasig. She received her education and became a teacher for 29 years.

Zenita married her high school sweetheart, the late Norberto G. Villena, and had three wonderful children. Zenita was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be dearly missed by her children May Teofila, Jonathan, and Norbezita, grandchildren Timothy, Czarina, Krystelle, Nathaniel, Stella, and brother Tomas Jr. and sister Alcorda.

Zenita was known for her kindness and her love for her family. She touched the lives of many and will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. May her memory live on in the hearts and minds of those who loved her.

A Visitation for Zenita will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Magnolia Room. A Funeral Service will occur Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at The Magnolia Room. A Committal Service will occur Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park. A Reception will follow Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at The Orchid Pavilion.
