

James Russell Taylor was born in L’Anse, Michigan to Nathan Webster Taylor and Minnie Louise Taylor on February 25, 1939. He married Virginia Hoover on September 11, 1965 in Kerrville, Texas. He graduated from Northern Michigan University. He worked as a Pulmonary Technologist for Leonard Morse Hospital for many years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Army as a medic at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Throughout his lifetime, James had a passion for woodworking, golfing, softball, and spending time with his beloved family.
James is preceded in death by Keith Russell Taylor, his son.
James is survived by his spouse Virginia Taylor, his two daughters Kimberly Forgione (Robert Forgione) and Brooke Innocenti (Jason Innocenti), his brother Harry Taylor (Gene Taylor), his grandchildren Carleigh Sparks, Taylor Innocenti, Nathan Innocenti, Nessa Innocenti, Brady Taylor and Natalie Taylor, and his great-grandchildren Kenna Sparks and Kaisley Sparks.
The family of James Taylor wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all those who aided him in his last few years of life and those who loved him.
