Sherry Dawn Johnston

Born on July 22, 1943, in Oak Park, Illinois, Sherry was the daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret Berg. She graduated from Bloom Township High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree from William Jewell College.

On August 29, 1964, Sherry married Grant Johnston, with whom she shared a loving marriage of sixty years. A devoted homemaker throughout her life, Sherry was actively involved in her church and its activities.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Grant Johnston; children, Ryan (Marty), Adam (Cris), Kara (Brian), and Janae; siblings, Ray Johnson and Robyn Sparks; as well as 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Margaret Berg, and her sister, Karen.

Graveside burial services will be held in Colorado at a later date.
