

Henry Austin Lovell, 94, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Corinth. He was born October 13, 1916 in Prentiss County to the late Ben and Minnie Stacy Lovell. He was a retired painter and a member of Hinkle Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon and past music director. He enjoyed working on his farm.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 28, 2011 at Hinkle Baptist Church with Bro. Excail Burleson and Bro. Paul Stacy officiating. Burial will follow in the Hinkle Cemetery. McMillan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Ruth Yancey Lovell; two sons, David (Chris) Lovell of Peoria, Arizona, and Donnie (Glynda) Lovell of Hinkle; four grandchildren, Robin (John) Turner, Lori (Donald) Julen, Allison (Todd) Talley, and Don (Lydia) Lovell; eight great-grandchildren, Lindsey Julen, Lee Julen, Mallory Julen, Chelsea Edge, Gillian Turner, Jenna Turner, Will Talley and Andrew Lovell; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and four sisters.
Pallbearers will be Charles Lowry, Jimmy Holley, Keith Kelly, Danny Ballard, Fred McCord, and Danny Bradley. Honorary pallbearers will be James Roy Marecle, Charles Yancey, Joe Gray, Keith Ballard, Noble Williams and Doug Johnson.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Gideon Bible Program.
