

Barbara Kay Murphy Riddle, 65, returned to her heavenly home on Thursday, April 7, 2016, after a valiant battle with a long illness. She was born July 14, 1950 to Gene Tunney and Vera Frances Gann Murphy. She was retired from Mississippi Forestry Commission, where she worked as a secretary, and was a member of East Booneville Baptist Church.
She was kind and loving, and always had time for her family. She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her creator. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 9, 2016 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Hall and Bro. Grice Webb officiating. Burial will be in Forked Oak Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne Riddle; four daughters, Lisa Peak and Tammi (Michael) Metz both of Booneville, Jennifer (Rusty) Slack of Marietta, and April (Doug) Burgess of Corinth; one son, Carey (RaShanda) Riddle of Guin, AL; her father, Gene Tunney Murphy of Booneville; two sisters, Connie (Terrell) Boren of Saltillo and Sandra (Ricky) Neaves of Madison; one brother, Danny (Barbara) Murphy of Booneville; eleven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Pallbearers will be, Will Slack, Ben Slack, Tyler Burgess, Chi Wesson, Alex Wesson, Dustin Bridges, Justin Denson, Brad Denson, and Trevor Boren.
Visitation will be 11am-3pm on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at McMillan Funeral Home.
