Celia L. Lindsey, 80, passed away Monday, January 14, 2013, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. She was born September 9, 1932 to Oscar and Ola King. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and was a member of the ladies prayer group.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday January 17, 2013 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Mark McCoy and Bro. Pete McCoy officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery.
Survivors are three daughters, Joyce King of Corinth, Sherry Jackson of Booneville, and Tina (Steve) Taylor of New Site; one son, Randy (Debra) Lindsey of Decatur, AL; eight grandchildren, Lisa Shook, Kevin King, Tyler Dickey, Bridget Jackson, Jessica Lindsey, Brian Lindsey, Michael Taylor and Lindsey Taylor; five great grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Zuann King of Booneville.
Preceded in death by, her husband, Houston Lindsey; her parents; one sister, Deal Dodds; and one brother, Cefus King.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday January 16, 2013 and until service time on Thursday at McMillan Funeral Home.
