Clester Morine Spencer Jackson, 79, died Monday, August 22, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born July 13, 1932, to Bedford Forrest Spencer and Nancy Almer Thomas Spencer. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 26, 2011, at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Ronnie Livingston and Bro. Elbert Ray Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Sumners Chapel Cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Mitchell Jackson and his fiancée, Betty Floyd of Marietta; four sisters, Vester Fowler, Clara Ray (Albert) Taylor, Lula (Horace) Lambert, Cathryn (Gerald) Jackson, all of Marietta and Lillie Young of Booneville.
She was preceded in death by her husband Max L. Jackson; her parents; one sister, Geraldine Spencer; and one brother, Chester Spencer.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Wednesday and until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
