

Elizabeth Seubert Buchberger, 85, died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at her home in Booneville, MS. She was the daughter of August and Elizabeth Kaufmann Seubert and grew up in Marathon, WI. She and her husband Robert were instrumental in setting up the Booneville branch of Marathon Cheese Corporation in 1962.
She was a very faithful Catholic throughout her life and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Her husband Robert of 61 years passed away on March 2 of this year.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 23 at St. Francis of Assisi Church with Father Richard Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville Cemetery.
She is survived by her four sisters, Marie Goldbach and Rita (Donald) Menzner of Marathon, WI, Angela Kannenberg of Wausau, WI and Chandler, AZ and Judith (Daniel) Stroick of Chandler, AZ; five children, Michael Buchberger of Hollandale, MS, Marie (G. Neil) Yates of Elizabethtown, KY, Greta (Donald) Prather of Shelbyville, KY, Lisa Trace of Booneville, and Karl (Rebecca) Buchberger of Florence, KY; fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Margaret Sekorski and Lorraine Seubert; and one brother, Charles Seubert.
Prayer service and rosary will be held from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, May 22 with visitation from 3-5 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic and from 10 a.m. till service time on Monday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Booneville.
