

Hubert Harold Dodds, 75, died Saturday, October 8, 2011 at his home after a long and hard fought battle with Cancer. He was born on May 3, 1936, to Will and Mary King Dodds. He was a loving husband, Daddy, Papaw and friend to many. He was a Mason, and devout Christian man that loved his church family as a member of Liberty United Methodist Church. He was a retired carpenter and school maintenance worker at Hills Chapel School. He enjoyed working in his garden and talking about the good old days.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Short and Matthew Henderson officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites will be in the Liberty Cemetery.
He is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Tolar and husband Terry and Vickie Blythe, both of Booneville; two grandchildren, Broc Hannon and wife Kristin, and Chelsea Blythe; two brothers, Raymond Dodds and wife Francis and Gerald Dodds and wife Nadine both of Booneville; one sister, Martha White and husband Jimmy of Booneville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Ileen Dodds, his parents, one brother Vernon Dodds, 3 sisters, Thedus Breedlove, Ruth George and Rachel Gentry.
Pallbearers will be Tim Harber, Sam Harber, Greg Dodds, Mark White, Jody Holly and Justin Lambert. Honorary pallbearers will be Max Harber, Johnny Lambert, Joe Lambert, J.W. Jacob, Jimmy McDougal, Lee Lambert and Kenneth Ashmore.
Visitation will be from 5-9 pm on Monday, October 10, 2011 and until service time on Tuesday.
