James “Tommy” Thomas Christian, 74, of Saltillo, passed away April 22, 2026, at The Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was born on January 30, 1952, to Coy Christian and Thelma Robbins. Tommy worked for Yellow Freight for several years in Houston, Texas and in the auctioneer business with family for over 30 years. He enjoyed all sports and was always up to date on local and world news.

He is survived by his daughters, Michelle McCarver (Bubba) and Michelle Bell (Mike); his brothers, Charles Devan Christian (Annie), Paul Christian, and Ricky Christian (Cindy); his sister, Nancy Knight; his grandchildren, Brooke Johnson, Gage McCarver, and Cali McCarver; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Becky Young.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Dalton Christian; and a special companion, Denise Camp.

A Private Family Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
