

James Earl Hannon, 84, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 8, 2015, at Landmark Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Booneville. He was born September 17, 1930 to Alney and Gertie Hannon. He was a member of East Booneville Baptist Church. He was Director of Mantenance at Baptist Memorial Hospital In Booneville for 25 years. He served in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne Division as a paratrooper in 1950. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and father-in-law. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00PM Wedneday, March 11, 2015, at McMillan Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Howell and Bro. Jim Holcomb officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dyann McCoy Hannon of Boonville; two sons, Rickey (Janet) Hannon of Booneville and Mickey (Cheryl) Hannon of Jackson, TN; two grandsons, Broc (Kristen) Hannon and Evan Hannon both of Booneville; one granddaughter, Amy (Carey) Martin of Booneville; two great grandsons, Hayden Bruce Martin and James Pike Martin both of Booneville; four sisters, Margie Babcock of New York, Faye Hardy of Memphis, TN, Gwen Regel of Memphis, TN and Bonnie Hannon of Shannon and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Bobbie Moran.
Pallbearers will be Don Horn, Jason Scroggins, Junior Tennison, Robert Dodson, Robert Penrose and Travis Stokes. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Men’s 4 Sunday School Class of East Booneville Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM – 8:00PM Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at McMillan Funeral Home until service time at the funeral home.
