Jimmy Dale Green, 69, passed away Thursday July 12, 2018 at his home in Booneville. He was born June 12, 1949 to John William and Helen Marie Key Green. He was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. He married Kathy Diane Green on May 23, 1969, they had one son Bradley J. Green, born on July 9, 1980. He attended Jumpertown School where he graduated in May of 1968. He was a plumber and electrician all his life until he retired on June 12, 2009. He served in the Mississippi National Guard from August 1969 until he retired in November 1993. He retired as Master Sgt. First Class (E7).
A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Estes and Bro. Trey Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Brad Green (Tina Maness); mother, Helen Green; nephew, Hunter Henley; sister, Jo Ann Cox (Bobby); two grandchildren, Travis Green and Savanna Trimble; mother-in-law, Joy Osborn; sister-in-law, Renae Henley and brother-in-law, Darrell Osborn all of Booneville.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Kathy Diane Green; father, John William Green and father-in-law, Bob Osborn.
Pallbearers will be Charles Cartwright, Greg Hardin, Tracy Cox, Darrell Osborn, Mike Mooney, Timmy Baker, Joey Pittman and Mark Lambert.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
