

“Larry Tom” Coats, 58, of Booneville died Thursday, July 11, 2013 at home. He was born August 24, 1954 to Minister Lester Beal and June McDonald Coats. He was the owner of Gopher-it Productions and The Sound Stage and a member of Ripley Church of Christ. He was the production manager for Jonathan Singleton and The Grove, he was the bass player & vocalist for Kennedy International and had the opportunity to play bass guitar with Collin Raye on the Grand Ole Opry in 2011.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 13, 2013 at McMillan Funeral Home with Minister Doug Greenway and Minister Donnie DeBord officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Church of Christ Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Regina Gandy Coats; his mother, June Coats of Booneville; two sons, William Thomas Coats II and Samuel Keith (Stephanie) Coats both of Nashville, TN; and one sister, Cheryl (Greg) Moss of Michie, TN.
Preceded in death by his father, Minister Lester Beal Coats; and his wife of 33 years and the mother of his sons, Sharon Kay Coats.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Singleton, Josh Smith, Andy Dixon, Dustin Nunley, Justin Dudley, and David Duncan.
Visitation will be 5-9pm on Friday and until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
