Lena Lee Jacobs

Lena Lee Cleveland Jacobs, 94, of Booneville passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Booneville. She was born November 14, 1919 to Lonnie and Bessie Mae Taylor Cleveland. She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty United Methodist Church.

A celebration of life service will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Cleveland and Bro. Jimmy Glover officiating. Burial will be in the Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Darlene Barron and Jolene (Bobby) Taylor both of Booneville; four sons, J.W. (Brenda) Jacobs and Gerald (Joan) Jacobs both of Booneville, Charles (Mary) Jacobs of Florence, MS, and Jim (Janie) Jacobs of New Site; one sister, Ruble Stanley of Marietta; one brother, Lewis Cleveland of Booneville; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Homer Jacobs, Sr.; two sons, William Homer Jacobs, Jr. and Joe Ellis Jacobs; three sisters; five brothers; one granddaughter; and one son-in-law, Danny Barron.

Visitation will be 5-9pm Tuesday, October 14, 2014 and until service time on Wednesday at McMillan Funeral Home.
