Martha Jeanette Davis, 69, of Booneville, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025 at her home. She attended Thrasher Baptist Church but was a member of the Gaston Baptist Church. Jeanette started her nursing career with nine years of service at Magnolia Regional Health Center and fifteen years of service with Fresenius Medical Care before retiring. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, she also loved working in her yard and she loved cooking.
A celebration of life will be at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Shane Evetts officiating. Burial will be in the Gaston Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Davis; her daughter; Kelsey Spears (Will); her sisters, Maxine Scott, Pam Lauderdale (Max), Angie Thornton (Michael), and Cindy Hinton; her grandchildren, Reid Spears, Davis Spears, and Asher Spears; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Christine McCoy; her son, Brian Davis; her, daughter, Tonya Davis and her brother, Gary “Bubba” McCoy.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Manley, Bruce Padgett, Chad Lauderdale, Clay Voyles, Cory Voyles, Blake Thornton, Patrick Strickland and Petey Strickland.
