Max R. Jones,68, of Booneville died Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville, MS. He was a member of the Oak Ridge Church of Christ, he worked on pipeline construction and was a member of Local 624 Operating Engineers.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Friday, November 18, 2011 at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Calvin Barber and Bro. Gene Coltharp officiating. Burial will be in the Jumpertown Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Rachel Windham Jones; one daughter, Jennifer (Brent) Mills of Corinth; two sons, Lee (Tracy) Jones and Brian Brumley both of Booneville; seven grandchildren, Morgan Jones, Derek Jones, Quade Reaves, Braden Mills, Madelyn Mills, Brittany Null and Kaylee Brumley; two great grandchildren, Carson Null and Case Null.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Mattie Jones and one sister, Nelda Green.
