

Mildred I. Kendall, 93, died Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Landmark Nursing and Rehab Center after an extended illness. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Booneville. She was owner/manager of Rees Court Café for over 25 years. She was a previous President of the Booneville Lady’s Civitan Club and served as a volunteer at the Boonville Hospital. She enjoyed playing spite and malice cards with her friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2010 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Hankins and Bro. David Lowery officiating. Burial will follow in Booneville Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Barnett of Olive Branch, Ms.; three sons, Larry Kendall (Joyce) of Booneville, Ms., Ed Kendall of Baldwyn, Ms., and Ray Kendall (Pat) of Hernando, Ms.; one sister, Aldene Mobley of Wisconsin; six grandchildren, Steve Barnett, Leana Gargus, Ricky Way, Robert Way, Renee Duffy, and Steve Williams; sixteen great- grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl E. and Ethel M. Zimmerman Punke; her husband, Dale Kendall; one sister, Vera Stimpert; two brothers, Gene Punke and Bob Punke; one granddaughter, Ginger Howard; one son-in-law, Jerry Barnett; and one daughter-in-law, Ruby Kendall.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Way, Richard Way, Robert Way, Ryan Way, Steve Barnett, and Zach Williams.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and until service time on Friday.
