Peggy Mavoline Nabers

Peggy Mavoline Nabers, 82, passed away Monday, March 02, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born August 24, 1932 to Mark and Nellie Kate Lambert. She was a member of Tuscumbia Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 1:00PM Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Tuscumbia Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis H. Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Tuscumbia Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn (Wayne) Whipple of Tupelo and Rhonda (Sammy) Allred of Corinth; one sister, Earline Rinehart of Natchez; three sister-in-laws, Geraldine Lambert of Booneville, Esta Bethay of Booneville and Marjorie Gresham of Memphis, TN; one brother-in-law, McEllis Nabers of Booneville; six grandchildren, Joshua (Ambur) Whipple, Holly (Jonathan) Babcock, Patrick (Brigette) Whipple, Nicholas (Kristy) Whipple, Adam (Jessi) Whipple and Clayton Allred; twelve great grandchildren, Marie, Capri and Joaquin Whipple, Anna, Will, Mary and Jacob Babcock, Allie, Aubry, Duncan and Preston Whipple and Wesley Whipple; one special cousin-in-law, Ilene Lauderdale; her special caregivers, Pat Carpenter, Lila Grisby, Wanda Seago, Peggy Pickens and Joyce Holland and a host of special friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Houston M. Nabers and R.L. Duncan; her parents; one sister, Moline Hare and one brother, John Watson Lambert.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Whipple, Patrick Whipple, Nicholas Whipple, Adam Whipple, Clayton Allred and Jonathan Babcock

Visitation will be from 5:00PM – 8:00PM Friday, March 6, 2015 at McMillan Funeral Home and until 12:00PM Saturday at the funeral home.
