Peggy Teresa McVey Phillips, 63, died Friday, March 13, 2015 as the result of an automobile accident. She was born August 7, 1951, to Julius and Josephine James McVey. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, flowers, decorating, crafts and spending time with “Tater Bug”.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, March 15, 2015, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. David Krech and Bro. Russell Lormand officiating. Burial will be in New Lebanon Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Julie Edge Smith and Belinda (Bill) Childers; two sisters, Gayle McVey Ferguson and Christine (David) Whitlock; two brothers, Billy (Hilda) McVey and Ronnie (Tammy) McVey; four grandchildren, Beth Edge, Drake Smith, Elijah Smith and Jacob Smith; one great-grandchild, Zada “Tater Bug” Edge; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Jeanette Winters Yuhauz; and two brothers, Bobby Joe McVey and Carey Don McVey.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
