

Ronny L. Martin, 69, formerly of Booneville, died Thursday, February 11, 2010, at his home near Iuka. He was born March 6, 1940, in Jackson, Tennessee, to the late Roy C. and Maxine Lacy Martin. He was a master electrician and owner of Martin Electrical. He was a member of the Church of Christ, a U.S. Navy veteran of Vietnam, and a former member of the Mississippi Army National Guard.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Charles Curtis officiating. Burial will follow in the Booneville Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Nell Walden Martin; his son, Brent (Rachelle) Martin of Byram; his stepdaughter, Christy (Frank) Madilinger of Cordova, Tennessee; his stepson, Clint (Carol) Whitaker of Falls City, Washington; his sister, Mamie Tays of Carthage; three brothers, Larry (Brenda) Martin of Havanna, Florida, Gary (Carolyn) Martin of Tupelo, and Cary Martin of Madison; three grandchildren, Britney Lacy Martin, Andrew Martin, and Bethany Martin; two step grandchildren, Mac and Chris Madilinger; his caregiver, Wayne Buckles.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister-in-law, Portia Martin.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 12 noon Saturday and continue until service time.
