Ruby Estelle Gardner, 85, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Landmark Assisted Living in Booneville. She was born March 30, 1930 to Charles Clifton and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Tennyson. She was a faithful member of East Booneville Baptist Church for 50 years and owned Ruby’s Beauty Shop for 30 years.
Funeral service will be 1:00PM Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rickey Kelly officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville Cemetery.
She is survived by one sister, Ann (David) Lacy of Knoxville, TN; two brothers, Hubert Tennyson and Gene (Mevoline) Tennyson both of Hills Chapel and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Gardner; her parents; one sister, Kathleen Hutchison and two infant brothers, Homer and Charles Tennyson
Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at McMillan Funeral Home.
